چکیده
A solitary fibrous tumour is an unknown neoplasm that fibroblastic in nature. It causes diagnostic difficulty due to its unexpected Immunophenotypic appearance as well wide histologic appearance, but most of the time it accurately diagnosed histological characteristics and strong positivity CD34 expression.SFT known occur almost all parts body including meninges skin. This a slow-growing can be successfully treated by complete excision; malignant counterpart SFT rare. The important reliable positive markers are CD34, CD99, BCL2. There consistently negative this tumor well, used according location, such EMA&S100.Although majority frequent expression, spectrum occurrence immunophenotype might offer difficulties. Research findings shows that, meninges, orbit, upper respiratory tract, salivary glands, thyroid, peritoneum, liver, retroperitoneum, pelvis, adrenal gland, kidney, urinary bladder, vagina, spinal cord, skin, periosteum, soft tissues have been form neoplasm.

Solitary fibrous tumours are rare mesenchymal neoplasms usually arising in the pleura. Extra-pleural locations are uncommon although some cases of head and neck involvement have been reported in the recent literature. In such cases, nose, paranasal cavities and parapharyngeal spaces are the most frequently affected sites. The Authors present a case of a solitary fibrous tumour involving the lat...

Solitary fibrous tumour (SFT) of the pleura is a rare, usually benign primary tumour of the pleura. Spectrum of presentation can vary from an incidental finding on chest radiograph done for some other purpose, features of compression of surrounding structures to symptoms resulting from the tumour per se. We report a case of a female who presented with complaints of cough and chest pain in whom ...

BACKGROUND Solitary fibrous tumour (SFT) is an uncommon mesenchymal neoplasm that most frequently affects the pleura, although it has been reported with increasing frequency in various other sites such as in the peritoneum, pericardium and in non-serosal sites such as lung parenchyma, upper respiratory tract, orbit, thyroid, parotid gland, or thymus. Liver parenchyma is rarely affected. Clinica...
متن کاملExtrapericardial solitary fibrous tumour of the pericardium.
Solitary fibrous tumour (SFT) occurs most commonly in the pleura and is extremely rare in the pericardium. The authors report a case of a 60-year-old man in whom a large mediastinal mass was accidentally discovered. Computed tomography showed involvement of the left anterosuperior mediastinum with displacement of the trachea, large vessels and oesophagus; histopathological findings after comple...
